Energy

Energy generation and transmission can have significant noise implications. Power stations and electrical substations are known sources of noise and can be particularly annoying due to the low frequency or tonal nature of the sound. Wind turbines at wind farms are a notorious but often a misunderstood source of noise. We provide noise monitoring, assessment, and mitigation advice for all types of energy generators. We have particular expertise with substation transformer noise, wind farms and solar farms.
